DevOps as a Service overview

End-to-End DevOps Services — CI/CD & Infrastructure as a Service

Terraform-managed AWS (Sydney for AU). CI/CD in your existing pipeline. EKS by default. OpenTelemetry observability. Monthly DORA reporting. We'll tell you up front when DaaS isn't the right call.

DevOps as a Service fits two specific situations. First: SMEs that need production-grade CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and observability — but don't have the headcount for a dedicated platform team. Second: larger organisations that need to augment an existing platform team for a specific window — a migration, a compliance push, or backfill while a permanent hire is being sourced. Where neither applies, we'll say so up front. Not every customer needs DaaS.

Our managed scope, in plain terms. Terraform-managed infrastructure on AWS (Sydney for AU customers). Docker and Kubernetes runtime — EKS by default. CI/CD in the customer's chosen pipeline (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, or Bitbucket Pipelines for Atlassian-stack customers). Observability via OpenTelemetry into Grafana + Prometheus or Datadog. On-call coverage with documented runbooks for the failure modes we know about. Service-level commitments and uptime targets are written into the engagement — not implied. We report against the four DORA metrics monthly so the customer can see the practice working.

We benchmark our quote against the alternative — building an equivalent internal team of a Senior Platform Engineer + Mid SRE + part-time on-call, fully loaded with AWS support and tooling. Our DaaS pricing typically lands at 40–60% of that fully-loaded cost. The figure depends on workload complexity, on-call frequency, and required hours of coverage. We show our working in the engagement quote.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

DevOps as a Service is a growing model for companies looking to accelerate software delivery without the overhead of building an internal team. Here are answers to the most common questions about our DaaS offerings.

DevOps as a Service is a managed service model where an external team handles your DevOps infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and operations. It lets you adopt DevOps best practices without hiring and managing a full in-house DevOps team.
With DaaS, you get immediate access to a team of experienced DevOps engineers without the overhead of recruiting, onboarding, and retaining specialists. You benefit from collective expertise across multiple projects and industries, 24/7 coverage, and predictable costs that are often lower than building an equivalent internal team.
We are technology agnostic and work with all major DevOps tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and more. We recommend tools based on your specific stack and requirements rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Our typical onboarding takes 2–4 weeks. We start with a discovery and assessment phase to understand your current infrastructure, then design a tailored DevOps strategy. Initial quick wins—like CI/CD pipeline setup or monitoring improvements—are usually delivered within the first sprint.
Our 24/7 support covers real-time infrastructure monitoring, automated alerting, incident response, and on-call escalation. We use tools like PagerDuty for alert management and maintain defined SLAs for response and resolution times based on incident severity.
